En 1989, DR Strings reintrodujo la fabricación de cuerdas redondas hechas a mano en el mercado general. Requiere mucha habilidad, tiempo y cuidado, pero creemos que vale la pena porque podemos escuchar la diferencia entre una cuerda hecha a mano y una cuerda hecha a máquina.

These are exactly like the strings on Rocksmith. I am a beginner and these have made it so much easier for me to learn and they are soft so they dont hurt my fingers too bad. They Look great just look at the picture and they sound very good too

I'm normally a DR Pure Blues guy, basically don't get anything else for my electric's normally. But Amazon had decent deals on some of the DR coated electric strings and no decent deal on the guage of Pure Blues I normally get, so for fun I gave these a try.Firstly, they tune up a bit lighter than the Pure Blues ones do. Used them on my guitar with a Floyd Rose, and had to adjust the springs after changing to these strings as the tension was clearly different at pitch despite being the same guage of string.The colours are pretty bright and vibrant except for the purple high E string, which in comparison is really hard to even see. Also, the high E string lost it's colour coating pretty quickly all up and down. There are still patches of colour, but it's come off all over the string. Hasn't affected the playing, tone, sound or feel, and barely the look, because, as I said, you could barely see that darker purple string anyway. The B string was the only other one that lost any colour at all. It took a lot longer, (the high E started losing colour almost straight away, while the B took weeks before any came off) and the only place it lost colour was the area where I picked the string. Didn't lose any in the fretting parts of the string. None of the others lost any colour anywhere.The feel of the strings is interesting also. The three unwound strings don't feel like normal steel strings. They almost feel half like wound strings. The first time I put them on and played it was almost weird, but not in a bad way, just a bit different, and it didn't affect my playing at all and pretty soon didn't notice it.Overall, they are perfectly good strings. I think once I'm done with the ones I've already bought I will likely go back to normal Pure Blues. Getting coloured strings was a fun thing, but I don't know I'd do it normally. But if I was in a band where having funky coloured strings was a plus I'd definitely go for them again, because they are actually good strings, you aren't sacrificing good strings for the gimmick of having them colourful. So if you are liking the idea of the coloured strings but wondering about whether it might be sacrificing tone for looks, it's not.

Beautiful and solid, and it matches the original in sound quality and stiffness. But, the colours of the lower 2 strings will fade or disappear gradually (only 5th & 6th strings). However, that was not a big problem for me, as it's a good way of knowing when you should replace the strings.

Menos de 3 días de uso y 4 de las 6 cuerdas están descarapeladas. el sonido siempre es subjetivo, pero en general suena opaco, y con poco cuerpo, los colores, le dan un aspecto..... infantil. no solo no son lo que esperaba en cuanto a calidad de apariencia, sino que el sonido no es el mejor y mucho menos para un juego de cuerdas nuevas, aparte de eso tuve que octava por completo la guitarra.

Nice bright vibrant strings. Fitted to my fender strat so i can jam out on rocksmith. I was told by a friend that new strings will go out of tune many times when first fitted due to them needing to settle in stretch etc, but I have had these fitted to my guitar now for quite some time and they have not gone out of tune once.Only downside to ordering these strings is the delivery time was nearly 4 weeks. Take note they do come from abroad so they have to be imported.Overall quality is good, but expect some of the paint to flake off over time but nothing crazy 99.9% of my strings are still covered in neon paint, and under black-light they look awesome.
