UPDATE 7/27/2024: Donner support contacted me, asked me to upload video with problem but instead I wanted to try new USB-C cables after trying several I had and not working BUT an original apple connected fine, so I got the new ones I ordered and it worked ok on iPad with the lightning adapter. It was just weird but I stand, partially though, corrected, not all USB-C cables work.Bought in Nov. 2023, today is Jul 2024. It was working fine in iPads and newer Macbook Pro as I only use it when I travel/vacations, then lent it to my son and we connected it his newer iPad 10 and it worked great, got it back and now a month later I'm trying to connect it to my Mac in Ventura/Logic or my other iPads running iOS 16 in Garageband and nada, my iPhone 13, nope either, it lights up but doesn't transmit anything. I just connected back to my son's iPad/Garageband and it works fine in there. No help from Donner neither I can't find any info on what is going on. Sad, I should have bought the other one that is the same but different brand, I thought Donner was a better brand. Wrong. Sad.

PROSNice small keyboard that works fine... until you want to do "crazy" stuff like modulation wheel, let alone extended functions (see below).I only use it to input notes in editors, so it is good enough for me.USB-C is a big plus.CONS- Pitch bend is joystick Up/Down, which is different than joysticks used in other products (Left/Right).- One would then expect Modulation Wheel to be Joystick Left/Right. But it isn't. I am still trying to understand how to use modulation with this thing.- The manual is cryptic, and I think the actual "SHIFT" function instructions are only passed down orally over generations of elite Donner engineers. I am afraid simple users like us don't deserve this knowledge.- The LEDs are quite confusing, and the 3-digit display should be replaced by a proper pixel matrix display. I'll be happy to pay the extra $1.

I got this little thing because i needed something to bring with me back & forth to work & they offered a 32 key for a similar price as other companies were offering for 25 keys, and it was such a good price i figured what could go wrong , but i was honestly a little disappointed !i didnt really expect for the price honestly. just needed some plastic keys to lay down some chords , but even that is kinda complicated on this thing because quite a few of the keys are almost non responsive ! if i smash the key down , it works , but oftentimes if i play a triad itll only pick up two of the keys. god forbid i play something more complicated than that ! i also wasnt a huge fan of the velocity sensitivity. for something so cheap i honestly didnt expect it to be there at all & i would have preferred that personally for my use case , but MAN is it sensitive when the keys actually function.other than that its basically exactly what you expect. i cant complain about the functionality , i plug it in & it easily connects with ableton. the chord & arp buttons are fun to play with when the keys are responsive. the program they use for the firmware updates is about as dirt cheap as they come.all in all , i wont say im disappointed , i mean its my fault for bein cheap i guess. but if youre looking at this as an option , i personally would shoot for the $80 - $100 range where you at least know you're getting some sort of quality control.

Well, it's just a mini midi keyboard, so it's probably expected that white keys are just 28mm wide. Keep it in mind, maybe it's better to pay more and get one with wider keys. Works great though.

This 32-octave small MIDI keyboard is great for musicians who do a lot of computer music work, whether entering music into notation software such as Dorico or Sibelius or Finale or MuseScore, or playing single lines into a DAW. The response is instantaneous, the keys feel solid, the cable it comes with has USB C to plug into the keyboard and either USB C or the older USB A on the other end to plug into a computer. It fits perfectly into my computer backpack for travel, and it draws its power from the USB port of the computer so there's never any worry about dead batteries or needing to recharge. This is NOT for someone trying to learn to play piano, however. The feel is nothing like a real piano and the small keys won't help when trying to play on a full-size keyboard. But for musicians who travel and need to work with a computer it's a great compromise!
