I have a Bluetooth controller for my motorcycle's heated gloves that uses a 3V battery. It's a pain to change it out, so I hardwired it and then needed to get 3V from 12V. I used a USB adapter for a while, but it was cumbersome. If I forgot to plug it in, no heat for my gloves. I added this reduced as part of a wiring upgrade, and it worked perfectly. The wiring connections are on the device, so no question as to what goes where. Good value for this item.

Poor voltage tolerance. The unit specification is 9V output. The unit I got outputs 8.6V with no load. Same with 1 Amp load.

This DC to DC converter does exactly what it's supposed to do. I put it in line with a 20v battery and it put out 7.1 volts. Also puts out enough amps to power my transceiver on full power transmit. I would buy again.

This review is for the 3.3V buck converter, which doesn't seem to be available at the time of writing this review. This little buck converter works great for directly powering a 3.3v MCU from vehicle DC power. Voltage output was a constant 3.32V from 8-24V input out of my bench power supply. Under load (granted, ESP32 MCUs don't use all that much), voltage output remained steady. No complaints from me.
