I fish in numerous environments including freshwater lakes and streams. That activity will increase as I approach retirement next year. I have been acquiring many supplies to enhance my fishing skills. These drop-shot jig head sinkers prevent weed snags while keeping the hook and bait/lure up and presented to the fish for easy taking. The quick snap-on hook and bait connector pivot freely, enticing the fish to take a bite.

I love these weights. In the past, I have purchased the ones that come with the hooks already installed. And those are great. But sometimes it's nice to be able to use a different type of hook depending on the application. These weights easily snap onto my hooks and do not come off. This allows me many more options. This style of swim bait rig has become my absolute favorite. I've outfished my partners 5 to 1 using this rig compared to others. These weights also appear to be well-made. I have no concerns about the quality. Overall I am very happy with them. I would not hesitate to order more if I run out.

I ordered the 3/8 oz version of these weights. I always like to try something new when it comes to fishing gear. These weights will take me a little time to fine tune their use on my lake. While I'm familiar with jigging and trolling, I don't get much time in the weeds where this new (at least to me) design should shine.The quick connect wire has worked good so far in my attempts to catch fish. Although I have yet to close the deal and actually catch any.The quality and finish on these weights is very good. The lead is shiny. I would note that the seam created in the casting process is noticeable, but I don't think that will affect the fishability.
