Fit so good they almost look like they came factory in my car! Sounds great and you can't beat the price!!

I was dissapointed with these tweeters, when I got them, they fit in my car perfectly and looked nice, the sound quality was alright but sounded a bit off at lower volumes. I was using them fine for a good few months, then all of a sudden they started crackling really bad, the higher the volume the worse it was. Luckily I thought it was my new Pioneer door speakers that had gone, but was relieved when I found out it was these, as it gave me an excuse to upgrade again.

The sound quality of these tweeters are ok. Because of the price don't expect them to be up there with high end tweeters but for the price they are good.Ds18 tweeters don't like distortion of any kind, from your headunit or from your amplifier anyone who have blown these tweeters has more than likely blown when by playing distortion though them.Best thing I found with these tweeters hold them in your hand and turn up your head unit if they start getting hot then you need to turn the headunit down .if your unit not at high volume and they are connected to a amp turn down the gain on the amp, then turn turning up the headunit some more till they start getting warm again. If they still getting too hot then you are putting to much power though them or you are playing distortion from somewhere in setup. After checking for distortion ,I have played them at high volume for 6 hours and they never got warm.

Sound quality up to par although It doesn't hit the high notes as much as I'd prefer it to, definitely requires an external amplifier

as soon as I wired them in, they sounded low and distorted assumed it was wiring so tried 2 other sets of speakers and they sounded fine
