This is a simple lock for your water spigot. It basically has a component which screws over the screw on portion of the spigot to seal water from coming out, even if the spigot is turned to the open position. This component has an extension that the lock goes onto, but before you put on the lock, there's a cover component that affixes over the screw on portion. This cover can turn freely but is held in place by the lock. A thief cannot remove the cover because it's smooth and prevents the screwed on component from being screwed off by a thief. Simple solution for a common problem.The components materials are extremely high quality. A thief would not be able to cruse or bend the components by reasonable force with common tools. Highly recommend; would buy again.

Simple is Better. Less moving functions to break or bypass. I’ve tried 4 other designs they were ineffective. With enough time All locks can be circumvented but this one will last you a bit longer and deter opportunists. Well done and I applaud the engineer or whomever designed this.

I have a Florida condo property where water is like liquid gold. I had the more expensive lock built into the body type lock. It works great no one can use my faucet including me. The lock malfunctioned the second time I tried to open it. This new locking mechanism works perfectly. It accepts a variety of padlocks. I wish I had purchased this one first. It would have saved me a few hours of hassle! I recommend to anyone that wants to keep the neighbors from using your water.

Works great. I was worried that it might leak if someone was to turn on the water. I tested it out and the gasket seals the line with no problem, completely dry. I live in a small subdivision of duplexes and the resident kids and adults mistook my faucet for a public outlet. This lock let them know I have had enough of them taking my water and running up my water bill. It’s worth it’s weight in gold for me to have the peace of mind that my water is not running for hours at a time while I am at work.

En Latinoamérica es muy común tener nuestra toma de agua en el exterior, este dispositivo me ayudo porque están construyendo una casa a lado de la mía y pueden tomar agua de mi toma de agua, con este dispositivo m e ayudo mucho y más tranquilo.

I bought this to keep my kids and their friends from turning on the hose in my backyard and making a muddy mess all summer. It works perfectly, although the included lock is super cheap. I ended up replacing with another one I had on hand.

El metal con el que está fabricado tiene muy buen grosor, primero es una rosca que va a la llave, con capucha y al final se asegura con un candado (no incluído). Me parece mejor opción comprar el candado de tú preferencia aparte.
