The MOM book arrived quickly, was neatly packaged, and undamaged. The book has a beautiful textured cloth hardcover. The letters and border on the cover and spine are embossed gold. The book is divided into eight sections. I have shown the titles of the sections in the photos. There are sections called "Childhood", "Love", and "Advice". I have also included photos of sample questions. There are questions such as:"Tell me about your favorite holiday or childhood family traditions""What do you miss about the 'Good Old Days'?""What's the most adventurous thing you've ever done?""What advice do you have for raising kids?"This book would be a good gift to give a Mother that is going to welcome her first Grandchild or give it to your own Mother for answers to questions you would probably never ask in person. When the book is completed, the value of this book has no dollar amount. To have the person write in their own handwriting and own words things that they probably would never speak out loud is a special thing to treasure and pass down for generations. It is one thing to look at pictures but to actually be able to read a person's thoughts and feelings about things after they are long gone is definitely priceless. The book is small enough to carry with you in a medium sized purse or easily fits with your laptop in a laptop bag. It's not overly heavy. The only two things that aren't really dealbreakers for me but I would've chose differently are: the color and the space to write. The color I got is a cream--almost white. I can see smudges and fingerprints all over it and not coming clean because of the color. I would've chosen a dark color, especially if this book will be passed down for many generations. As for the writing space, I have big handwriting so this area would not be enough for me on certain questions. Some questions you cannot elaborate a whole page worth but on some questions I feel like one page isn't enough. I probably would've reserved the front and the back sides of a page per question. Otherwise, this book would make great gift for the Matriachs of your family. Most people like to talk about themselves, so what better way to have a person's legacy live on than to answer questions about themselves? I hope it doesn't take me a year to fill it out! lol

There are #81 numbered pages within.The prompts are written at the top of the page followed by lines for writing.Every page has a different prompt so the answer must be completed on corresponding page.There are about #21 lines per page.The pages are thick.There’s also a page for a family tree.The end-papers have various sized stars scattered all over - so cute!The linen-bound cover is hard, thick, and should last if my kids decide to actually pass it down.I only wish it had a few added pockets – or at least one – to the front or back. This book will make a great keepsake for my kids in years to come. The prompts are great and each page has plenty of room to write out your thoughts and memories. It is well-bound and seems quite sturdy. It is not something you will be able to sit down and fill out all at once, but rather something to come back to when time permits. It’s a great gift for any mom who would like to share their story with the generations to come.

This is a nice guided journal meant to be given from a mom to her children to tell her story. I really like the concept and it has nice leading questions that should be easy for anyone to follow along with and fill in. The paper feels nice and it is a decent thickness that works well with any of my pens. The overall appearance of the journal is neutral but nice. I don't have any complaints at all.5 stars

This journal turned out really nice. The cover feels solid, the pages are thick, and the printing inside is clear and easy to read. It doesn’t feel cheap at all.I gave one to my mom and she loved it. It’s the kind of thing that really gets people thinking and sharing stories you might not hear otherwise. I’m planning to order another one for my grandmother so we can have her memories written down too.Feels like one of those things that’ll get passed around the family for years. Definitely a meaningful gift.
