Polished stainless steel, great quality for the pedal steel guitar player. Much better than the chrome plated Ernue Ball bar.It's a bit shorter than a BJS bar, but not as expensive either.

Perfect size and weight for 8 string steel bar. I tried using my 10 string Pedal Steel bar on an 8 string lap and it was too long and hard to handle for some bar slants. Ordered this bar and the right length.

This is a well-made product, and for many people I am sure it is the bar of choice for playing lap steel or pedal steel. I found it to be too awkward to use, and prefer a slide that has a groove for your finger, since it is easier to manipulate. This bar is great however for the left hand muting of the strings, since you hand naturally rests on the strings behind the bar..
