Love this rattan cabinet! It adds to the boho aesthetic I was looking for, and I can discreetly store my books in it! Assembly took less than 30 minutes!

When this arrived in a fairly compact box, I couldn't help but make comparisons to IKEA assemble-yourself furniture. I was pleased all the way around with this cabinet. The bamboo parts all seemed to be of high quality, and apart from being bamboo, they in no way exuded "budget store" quality. The instructions were simple to follow (IKEA, take a lesson), and all of the pre-drilled holes were almost perfectly aligned (better than I was expecting). The kit includes a cheap allen wrench, but you'll need to provide your own Philips-head screwdriver. I didn't have my cordless driver ready, and there are a fair number of screws to drive, so it took me a bit longer than expected to assemble, but it is a solo job that goes smoothly if you follow the instructions. The only two minor issues I ran into are a tiny gap between one of the doors and the top of the cabinet (really not a big deal) and one of the shelf pins wouldn't insert easily into the pre-drilled shelf holes. A quick tap with a camera easily resolved that.If you like the look of bamboo, then you'll be very pleased with this piece of furniture. We are certainly happy with ours.

This piece is really quite nice, and the photo does it justice. The quality is a bit uneven, and I will update with a photo. The biggest drawback to this piece is how the hardware is packaged. All of the screws and other assorted pieces are co-mingled, rather than being individually labeled. There are two sets of four screws each that are very similar in size, and because they weren't individually labeled, I'm pretty sure I used the wrong screws too early in the process, leaving me with a sideboard that does not have the top attached. If you are better at assembling furniture than me (and I'll bet you are), then by all means this piece is lovely. If you aren't feeling confident in your abilities, then ask someone for help or skip this item.
