The letters are a nice size. The plastic is thinner than my very old letters (30yrs) and they arrived twisted . After some time on a flat surface in the sun they flattened out. The magnets are not very strong and some of the larger letters (m&w) slide down the fridge or front door. Several magnets have also come out and required gluing so watch little kids around them for sure.

I bought this for my 5 yo to get ready for kindergarten. They are sturdy and large. We put them on the fridge and I taught her to put blue red blue then sound it out. Don't get caught up on whether it's a "real" word or not. She loves it and makes everyone play when they visit. Bonus points if you spell out cuss words - bc this isn't school. 😂

Good buy for getting little ones to learn about alphabets. Recommend to buy more boxes and capital letters too. Am planning to purchase more to make more letters. One box is definitely not enough. Love the size, big for little hands.

These are so durable and high quality! I love how it is jumbo sized and I really love how it is color coded so the vowels are red and consonants are blue. There are so many different ways to use them at home with my 3.5 and 5 year old. Today I put them in jumbo plastic eggs and my kids did an alphabet egg hunt with them. The magnets are very strong and stuck onto the paper that I taped to the cookie sheet and didn’t move at all. Also I am starting to work on sight words with my 5 year old and I think using these magnetic letters will be a fun way instead of just using flash cards. The possibilities are endless! These are probably the best magnetic letters I have ever seen! Highly recommend!

The letters are big for little one's growing eyesight. The texture does not feel cheap. They are only in two colors (wisely separated into vowels and consonants). Therefore, it is not a greater task for the child to read the word. The magnets work great, they do not fall. Each letter is well distinguished (for ex: b, c, d, p, and q). They chose a font with no serifs, which would unnecessarily distract the child. I wish they had another set that were 3"-4" big and all red (according to the Glenn Doman principles of teaching your baby to read). They were overall fantastic.
