This set was great for sensory and building fine motor skill. My child loved playing with this kit and I felt better about a natural option without all of the chemicals.

Después de un año no se ha secado y sigue sirviendo muy bien. No se pueden hacer casitas como en la caja muestran, pero es muy divertido jugar con este foam.

I have a two-year-old boy that is special needs and loves his sensory bins. So when I saw this, I figured he would love it because he loves Playfoam. This sensory set is honestly not that bad; however it doesn't have much substance to it, and my kid got bored of it kind of fast because it's kind of repetitive. I will say I love the play foam and I love the whole idea of this kit, but I wish there were more to do with it, especially with the price being what it is. My son loves the texture of the play foam, and the play foam itself is soft and fun to mold. I would not recommend doing this on a carpet because it is messy and hard to clean up, especially on the carpet. I love the idea of the garden/bug-type theme; I thought the bugs were super cute, and it was fun teaching my son how to use the tweezers to pick them up.Overall, this kit is fun for a quick and easy sensory activity; however, it is straightforward and doesn't have much else you can do with it.

This review is going to be written from my three year old's perspective then from my perspective.OVERVIEW:This playfoam set comes with four different colors of foam, 9 little plastic bugs, a set of tweezers/tongs, and a black tray with a clear cover. The tray is great for providing an area to play with the foam and helps prevent it from getting everywhere. The foam can be compressed to make shapes that will hold their form until the foam is mushed. Then, the bond will dissipate. It reminds me of kinetic sand in this manner. The foam is an interesting texture that kind of resembles shredded rubber mulch.THREE YEAR OLD PERSPECTIVE:My three year old loved this playfoam. He has played with a different variety of playfoam that was made out of tiny foam balls. He didn't seem to care for that type. This playfoam kept his interest on multiple occasions for at least 20 minutes. He really enjoyed hiding the bugs in the foam and digging them out with the tweezers.MY PERSPECTIVE:This playfoam set is chaos. The pictures on the packaging show the colors neatly separated with multiple things built out of the foam. So, of course, the first thing I want to do is make a flower with the foam. Once the foam touches another color, there is no going back to having the colors separated. This may not be an issue for most people, but it is for me. I think I'll just stick to playdoh if I want to make things like that. For the purpose of having a sensory bin, it is great. I love that it keeps my little one occupied and entertained. Don't ever expect it to look like the pictures unless you always keep the colors completely separated.
