Very helpful / fun activity to introduce elements of fairy tales with 1st graders. In a group of about 10, we created a story from this game / students will fight over who gets to be the princesses etc. of course but it ended up working well to kickstart the unit

This game is so much fun! We got it in the mail yesterday and my almost 4 year old girl LOVES telling stories, so this is perfect for her. We actually have the eeboo fairytale story cards and she’s had a ton of fun with those, so this was the next natural step. She’s unconsciously learning about the various elements of story while expanding her vocabulary, critical thinking, creativity and communication skills. She’s also learning to listen to other’s stories, take turns and ask the speakers appropriate and relevant questions. This game is perfect for our family of readers and story tellers. If your child loves stories too, I can’t recommend it enough.

We got this game for our 5 year old, and he loves it. It’s a very well designed game, with beautiful, durable pieces, and it’s great at encouraging creativity and silliness (as well as basic gaming skills like taking turns and sharing). We’ll definitely be playing again, and it’s so well made that it will likely last a long time.

I would recommend this game for children who enjoy open ended play and story telling. I bought this for my 3 yr old who loves princess/fairy tales.She was able the grasp how the game works and the pieces are stable enough that you can hold them and pretend play with them when she tells her story. The game is multicultural and has characters from various fairy tales. The drawings are very whimsical and well done. My only complaint was the spinner it is clear so it is hard to see and does not spin as easily on spinners we have on other games.
