The holder seems to work fine, it’s not completely flush with the battery though, there’s some wiggle room. It didn’t fit perfectly in my GameCube even with some modifications. But so far it seems to be working.

I used one of these to make the old (dead) battery in my GameCube replaceable. I had to take a modeling file and shave down one edge to make it fit perfectly, but it didn't take but a couple of minutes to do and has made the battery way easier to replace for any future retro-gamers that own it.If anyone's replacing old system or cartridge batteries, I'd recommend using these over the usual old batteries with solder tabs.

These are a good solid coin cell holder, and being rugged, it is a bit bigger than most. Worked fine in the unit I was retrofitting this in place of a soldered in battery, but check you space to make sure it will fit.

When you don't want to directly solder in a button cell (like most Icom radios).Used this holder on my IC-735.
