This unit did great while it worked turning out really good coffee. It worked as expected until it gave an E3 error about the motor. Cleaned the drum and tried again, still get E3 error. Two weeks beyond return. If you get this roaster, consider the protection plan. Seems most see failures in a few months of use. Better to spend the extra and not a full replacement cost

I used this weekly since June 2024 and it did a great job besides the smoke filter which is absolutely useless. I think I’ve used it for about 30-40 batches.A few weeks ago I tried to use it and it produced an error code, E3, which the manual tells me the motor has too high resistance and shuts itself off.I tore apart the machine to see if anything was blocking the drum from rotating as it should, but all was clear and the motor shaft was still greased. So I guess the motor more or less crapped out. All electrical connections were up to snuff as well.I have tried searching online for a replacement motor, but I cannot find a match, surprise surprise.Don’t waste your $500, save up to get a nicer quality roaster.

Heating element stopped working after four months. Zero ability to reach the company to try and get a replacement part. Don’t purchase.

With the Arduino mod… and Artisan program, this is the best bang for the buck roaster. Search up the internet for the community and you will find tons of info shared knowledge and experience. Definitely recommend!
