Tube was microphonic and they had no replacement. Would cost what the tube was worth to send it back. Basically they took my cash, and gave me junk.Shipping was quick though, so I found out right away that I needed to buy another from somewhere else.

I replaced the 2 12AT7's with AX7's. No longer need to route the signal through a pot on the effects loop. Before that pot was installed pushing the volume on channel 1 to from 1 to 2 was deadly your ears. One AX7 made it a little better but 2 is better still.

These are a good quality tube. EH has always worked well in my amps. Can't say how long it will last since I just installed.

Tubes aren’t as magical as people will lead you to believe, but I had around a 8-10% tone improvement installing these in a Deluxe. I DID have those terrible GT tubes that comes factory installed in it, which may be why I had the bigger improvement in tone. Expect 5% better if you already have quality tubes.

Good tube for the price. I've had good luck with them in the past.
