Ottimo prodotto di grande qualita'. Accurato, funziona perfettamente.

I needed a bluetooth-enabled thermometer for the deep freezer in the garage, and this fit the bill perfectly. I was sent the unit for free to evaluate. It's very easy to set up with the companion app, which works well even with my older Android phone, and receives updated readings very quickly. Once paired, no further pairing is required. The Bluetooth range is excellent, no problems at distances around 60ft. I like the built-in rechargeable battery and the large screen. The device and app keep a running log of all readings, including humidity which is nice to have. I could see this being useful for cases where such logs are important. Having noted the price of $54, I do not think I'd ever be inclined to purchase such a device myself, but it may be well suited for commercial applications.

Having spent ~30 as a medical research scientist, I've had occasion to test and use many various data-collection devices. I've worked in/supervised laboratories in medical schools, American and British government facilities, and also in one commercial setting. Most of my bench work involved devising new methods for use in genetic toxicology and immunogenetics through testing clinical trial blood and tissue specimens. In other words, I know the importance of highly accurate and reliable measurement instruments. In particular, I've depended heavily on temperature/humidity guages for evaluating conditions in incubators used in cell culture. I tested the first prototype cell freezer for preserving life cells that can be thawed (even years) later for futher use. Also, I've needed to monitor min/max temperatures observable in the course of transporting blood and, occasionally, organs between clinical and research facilities. In this regard, here's an anecdote that may interest you: Over a period of ~9mos, another doctor shipped fresh, anticoagulated blood samples in test tubes from his patients out in the midwest to me on the east coast. He sent them in insulated containers meant to maintain a temperature of from > room- and Sure, I'm an old guy, but I've been using computers since they were only available as mainframes and I've authored programs, etc... I readily learn and know how to use tech devices of all sort.Very briefly, therefore, the app for this device is clunky at best. It could easily have been (still can be) so much better. I'll keep an eye out for updates and if/when the app improves, I'll try it and update this review. Also, I had a heck of a time connecting the BT and the porting via USB to my computers (I tried a Mac and a PC) never worked. I tried to ask for help from the company... no go. That's frustrating! I need accurate T/H data over time, but nothing very demanding. They will probably arrange for you to send and store your logged data to them for a monthly fee, but I don't need that.

I went against my better judgment after reading the reviews and purchased the data logger. I figured they’d have the bugs worked out by now. Sadly, I can’t even register an account. You’ve got to have account to use the device. It’s a fail right out of the box. Something as simple as an email verification and it doesn’t work. It’s the first step and it’s botched! Get it together Elitech.
