Less Sweat, Debris, And Finger Squeak
The way your strings sound has a lot to do with what you normally can’t see. While both of our patented coatings reduce noisy finger squeak, they also cut down on a large number of other pesky annoyances common to your average uncoated string. Sweat, skin, dirt, and even air, for example, can do a lot of damage to your strings. And if you live in a hot, humid area, the moisture in the atmosphere can wreak total havoc on your strings’ tone life. Polyweb Coating Vs NANOWEB Coating
POLYWEB Coating was our first coated string innovation all the way back in the '90s. It tends to warm and mellow the string’s tone and has a fast, slick feel that’s gentle on the fingers, which lets players keep jamming without the strings getting in the way. As a response to players who said they prefer a more traditional feel, NANOWEB Coating was then designed. This ultra-thin coating allows a brighter, crisper tone while offering the same amount of tone-life protection as its predecessor.
Coated Like No Other
Unlike other string brands, Elixir Strings coats the whole string. This protects not only the outer string surface but also the gaps between the windings where common tone-deadening gunk typically builds up in other brands’ coated and uncoated guitar strings. That’s why Elixir strings retain their tone longer than any other brand’s string, coated or uncoated. Simply put, build-up and corrosion kill your tone, and Elixir strings protect against elements that cause build-up and corrosion. Vem os pacotes de cordas separados, isso é muito legal, pois é possível substituir qualquer corda.

Installées sur une 8 cordes qui ne me sert pas souvent donc je sais par expérience qu'elles seront encore fraîche dans plusieurs mois même si je n'ai pas joué. Reçu rapidement, prix correct. Je recommande.

Las tuve cerca de año y medio sin nada de óxido. Tenían desgaste normal, pero conservaban gran parte de su sonido. Las cuerdas más duraderas que he tenido. Solo las cambié porque necesitaba otro calibre

En general, son excelentes cuerdas, aunque las siento un poco duras, si te todo para los “bendings”, pero eso es personal, para otros serán suaves. El sonido es claro, brillante, las compraría de nuevo.

Actualmente son las mejores cuerdas que he probado. La sensación al principio es diferente... Plasticosa, por definirlo de una manera, lejos del tacto de las cuerdas metálicas sin cobertura... Como tras haberles puesto Dunlop 65., pero te acostumbras rápido a ello. Es fácil hacer Slides con las cuerdas. El brillo no se pierde en lo absoluto, tras intenso uso. La cobertura va dejando una neblina y se nota se van "despellejando" al pasar del tiempo tras la práctica en el área donde uno ataca con la pua., empero, el resto de las cuerdas sigue sin alteraciones. Aún así nada supera, la rutina de lavarte las manos antes de practicar y limpiar las cuerdas con una microfibra después. Las cuerdas, no desafinan, se sienten un poco más "duras" de lo normal, pero, te acostumbras rápido. Simplemente las mejores.

He probado varias marcas y modelos de cuerdas, pero siempre termino volviendo a las Elixir. Suenan muy bien, se sienten bien, y duran como ningunas. No se compara el tiempo de vida útil de las Elixir, simplemente mantienen el sonido por mucho tiempo. Cada vez compruebo que vale pagar el precio por ellas; aunque son un poco caras, son una gran inversión. Dejaré de buscar otros modelos, porque siempre espero encontrar algo equiparable a las Elixir, pero simplemente no lo hay.

Vean bien a que calibre estan acostumbrados porque estas cuerdas si las afinas en estandar hasta el puente de la guitarra jalan y dejan inutil el vibrato, solo de que desatornilles la placa de atras y aprietes los resortes ya lo puedes volver a usar.No pense que fueran a estar tan duras, tuve que bajarle un tono a la guitarra para poderlas volver a sentir medio normal.Si estas acostumbrad@ a tocar en .9, no te las compres, extremadamente duras.De ahi en fuera dan muy buen sonido, se sienten bien y casi no se desafina mi guitarra cuando la dejo de tocar por mas de dos dias.
