I didn't want to spend the money on a new ironing board just yet - and needing an XL board, they're pricey! So I opted to get a new cover. I chose this one because it matches the colors and theme of my sewing room despite the less than stellar reviews thinking maybe people were just asking too much. Trust the reviews. This cover goes on with a draw string and despite the XL size of my ironing board, I still had to spend far too much time pulling and tugging to get it to fit. My board has an iron rest as well as "wings" on hinges that I can open to widen the narrow point at the front and fitting this cover around all of that was tricky and annoying. It's still not perfect but it will do for now. The cord lock that comes on it is less than adequate and the draw string feels flimsy. It's nylon and is okay but I'm not so sure about how long it will last. The cover itself is an odd shade of white/ grey that looks more like dingy white than anything else. It has a canvas feel to it; not smooth but I didn't notice much difference in the small amount of ironing I did so far (I'm a quilter so pressing is important; I'm not just ironing clothes.) I don't know how scorch resistant it will be or how long it will hold up to higher than average use. Time will tell. I don't plan on keeping it long and the price is low enough that I won't feel bad throwing it away when I eventually replace the whole ironing board. You get what you pay for.

It’s as described but I made the mistake of ordering it when my ironing board is 53” long. This is 49” long and the drawstring tightens to a smaller size. It’s fine if you’re looking for a cute, cheap cover. Just double check the size you need. The mistake was mine but don’t make the same mistake!

El tamaño quedó perfecto para mi tabla de planchar. Súper sencillo colocarlo, quedó perfecto. Lo volveré a comprar cuando se desgaste éste

I like the products but the delivery did not meet expectations. The picture shows the package sitting on a porch. Unfortunately the porch is not mine - nor does my porch look anything like the one in the picture. I was fortunate in that the person that did receive my package was honest and delivered it to me. Your delivery people should be more careful.
