Review actually applies to previous purchase. I try to replenish stock after use, and so a box of envelopes purchased in December probably is mostly used for the next year's Christmas cards. (We have been printing our own on 65# cardstock for a number of years.) Folded in half, as cards are, this 8.5x11 stock fits nicely in these envelopes, along with a letter, and fulfills Post Office requirements of dimension and weight for a single stamp.Compared to previous supplier's envelopes (Staples), these are slightly better. They feed reliably through an H-P 8600 printer with nearly no issues (1-2 misfeeds a year at most) when printed 20 at a crack, and retain their self-sealing ability even after being on the shelf for a year or more. They are boxed properly to arrive in good order for easy use. They take ink well. Allow adequate margins, but that's not hard on an envelope this large. Our annual usage for Christmas is approximately 215, and we use a few through the year for other mailing, typically to avoid excessive folding. They are good carrier envelopes for these cards we sometimes use for condolence letters:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004O77NVE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1If we include an envelope bearing cash, we will see the need for extra postage, but the fact of the cash will be undetectable, and, so far, these have arrived reliably when so used. The carrier envelope makes the purpose of the communication opaque.

These envelopes are of good quality and the self-stick is a great feature that has good stick to it. Heavy stock and nice to handle.

I used all 250 of these envelopes at once to send a perfect bound 8.5x5.5" 75 page long yearbook this winter. I was so happy these were finally in stock because having to moisten and seal 250 gummed envelopes at once would have been much more labor intensive. The paper is thicker than normal printer paper, but not as thick as cardstock so the envelope itself can be still bent. However, it does not rip or tear easily, as attested by a few that were returned to sender with worn corners and sometimes edges, and the international recipients that responded after receiving their yearbooks intact (I did tape those length and width wise just in case though).
