Bought this to replace the door boot on my LG WM2101HW washing machine that has developed a tear in the boot and causing water leak. Was able to replace it fairly easily after taking off the front face of the washer. I do hear a tiny squeak from the washer when the drum is spinning due to the gasket touching the drum. Think it won't be much of an issue once there's water in there during the washing process.Quick tips:1. I didn't buy the spring expander tool, you don't really need it. Just spray some soap on the boot and then use butter knives and spread the spring around the edge. If you've installed bike tires on wheels before, this is similar.2. Use lots of soapy solution to make it easier to slip the boot on3. Having a helper around to hold things in place while you install the spring wire ring makes a big difference4. Good luck!

I replaced my LG WM2455HW washer door gasket using this OEM and it did fit like a glove, keep in mind that you need this tool "Washing Machine Inner/Outer Spring Expansion Removal Tool" https://www.amazon.com/dp/B095WQG2J2?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1. this tool will be used for the outer spring ring, on the other hand the inner spring ring I used two big zip ties to re attach the spring back and it was not fun and the reason for that that the new OEM gasket wall is a bit thicker than the old one that came with LG washer. I was able to get installed and my washer is working again leak free.

After following other LG installation videos, I was easily able to install the gasket after removing the top and front of the washer. I purchased expander pliers for the gasket clamp/spring and the installation and seal were completed easily. After running the tub clean cycle and a couple loads, I noticed rubber debris from the new door gasket rubbing on the drum. Not sure if that will get on my clothes but enough collected at the bottom of the gasket where it drains into the tub to be a concern. The photograph was taken after I wiped most of the rubber pieces out of the groove.

So far so good. I've had it installed now for couple of months and no more leaks from my washer so hopefully it last!
