Good quality but could not get it to adjust to stop water from draining. Used part of old drain to fix my problem.

The stopping mechanism to my 1962 era beautiful bathtub broke off of the faceplate when I took it off for cleaning. I found this replacement part and am so pleased with the quality. Thank you!

Used to replace a >20 year-old fixture - looks and functions nice, but the screws girth didn't match so I had to use the old screws. Still happy with purchase - good value.

I rarely leave reviews, however I felt like, after watching a You Tube video, that this many help some folks frustration level.First, this is a simple repair. UNLESS, you have an older tub. The long and short is the linkage needed to be replaced, but the weight/stopper did not. That was fortunate for me so after way to long spent on this project I realized the stopper sent with the repair kit was the problem. I put it on the new linkage assemble and it worked right away. Moral of the story... keep all your old pieces as intact as possible and look at each component on its on merit. Where the new stopper barely fit in the pipe, the old stopper fit in with about a quarter inch (you can tell by the scratch marks where both of them seated.Good luck, hope it helps.
