Install was relatively easy, but I'm also a professional. This did not come with directions, so if you don't know what you're doing then let someone else do it for you. I already had added a fuse in the past that turns on with the ignition, so I just added the switch to that fuse. The only thing I'd wish I'd done was gotten LED bulbs before I installed, because the halogens get extremely hot being on for even just a minute. I'm so used to LED I forgot how hot halogens get.MOST IMPORTANT: Make sure to be extra careful with snapping everything in place on the bumper. The clips break VERY easily, and there are other reviews that state the same, this was my reason for the knocked off star. They are flimsy plastic clips, so I advise that you even make sure you adjust the fog lights before putting the chrome piece on (it is just easier to adjust with the chrome piece off).

This is a very nice fog lamp kit and looks factory. I am very pleased with the light output and there is a very big difference with them on. I will say that this is a kit to be installed by someone that knows what they are doing. I am an automotive technician or a car guy that is proficient in automotive electrical wiring. There are YouTube videos on the install but experience is key. You will have to take the engine compartment distribution center apart and then remove it. This will allow you access to the main wiring harness that enters the drivers side, so you can pierce the rubber to insert the fog lamp harness. You will also need to remove the front to install the fog lamp assemblies. What I am trying to say is this is not a quick job, it takes a couple of hours so don't be in a rush. This upgrade is definitely worth the time and effort in my opinion. This kit is complete but if you want to use an add a circuit fuse kit, you will have to purchase that separately. Other than the fuse kit there is nothing else you need to buy, unless you want LED's instead of the halogen lights. I left the halogens for now, but I may upgrade to LED's later. I highly recommend this kit, you will not be disappointed!!!

Pretty easy to install and look great, much better than the black plastic inserts on my 2011 equinox lt1. The biggest pain was finding a wire to tag the switch to, because I wanted it to shut off with the ignition. You wouldn’t think that would be a problem, right? I finally found the easiest one to get to was the lighter socket on the back of the console facing the rear seat. I switched out the bulbs for led’s. A nice addition to my ‘nox

Looks a whole lot better than the stock inserts. You can see a comparison on the picture. Fit perfect and went in easier than the old insert came out.
