This is exactly what I was looking for. A very reliable stud finder with metal & AC detection. It is a little slow to calibrate but it is worth the wait, it is very accurate once calibrated!

Item works great, but did not come with instructions on how to operate this particular device. Makes it difficult to know what you are doing if you've never used a stud finder before. I figured out the basics, but still need to know more to understand this product better.

So surprised that this tool does so much! You are able to do many functions (you are able to locate studs, metals, joists and live AC wires behind your walls/celings etc. I have not tried the deepintensity level option yet but the middle and exact options works perfectly. The display is very bright and has a direction indicator and audio alarm reminder which helps you locate your object easily. I really like that this tool can detect AC wires AND that it will have a little lightning sign that will alert you to stay away that power line. A wonderful safeguard. The directions included are very thorough (many tool manuals are horrible in terms of explanation and utilization). You also get the 9 volt battery (a total plus as these extras are NEVER included in such tool purchases). Very comfortable in your hand and easy to utilize. For the price, you cannot go wrong!!
