I specifically bought this timer cause it’s the same exact timer as the coffee house i work in before. Love the function and hook thats can slot on my apron.

Since both working and doing university from home, my ability to function without structure has been revealed to be...nonexistent. I needed a timer to help structure my day, and I wanted it to be something I could clip to myself so I wouldn't have to go from room to room to turn it off. When I found this time, I knew I had to buy it. During my three years as a barista under the watch of the almighty siren, this timer ruled my life with an iron fist, whether it was reminding me to make more drip coffee or wash my hands. As soon as I got it, I tested it, and the familiar yet terrifying alarm tone filled me with both adrenaline and a sense of urgency that compelled me to finish my tasks. My roommate, also an ex Child of Howard, hates it.It is easy to use and not glitchy from being constantly exposed to cleaning liquid and milk, so, five stars.

Producto sólido y funciona correctamente. Simple y para lo que se necesita. Me llegó a tiempo. Lo recomiendo para cocinas de restaurantes.

Bought this to time brew for espresso making. I use its magnetic back to put it on the side of my machine. I set the memory to 25 seconds (or whatever) and press go when I start the brew. It beeps when it gets to the time, continues beeping whilst indicating the seconds past the trigger. Press stop/start button to stop beeping. Press memory button and ready to go for next time. Simple and easy - as it retains the memory time until you reset it. Worked straight out of the box, and reliable so far.

This timer is great! I use it in my classroom for so many different things. It's awesome for getting students' attention when "time is up" as the beeping is very loud. I also love that it has a memory setting. I've set mine to 30 seconds and that's the perfect amount for think-pair-share. It also has a count up setting which is great when you're trying to track the length of a presentation, etc.I used to work at a coffee shop, and we used these timers to regulate espresso shot times and to keep track of tea brewing. They worked stupendously. They do--unfortunately, obviously, and expectedly--die a horrible death if you get them wet. Great timer!!!!UPDATE 5 months later:I have just started to have some issues with the timer. I still think it's a good purchase, but in the interest of full disclosure, here's some more info.The timer now sometimes crashes, just like a computer does. The screen will fail and only partially display and none of the buttons will work. I have to do a hard reboot (I.e. take out the battery and then put it back in) to get it to work properly. Sometimes I have to do this a few times before it will properly work. This seems to happen when I'm trying to set the timer for a larger number of minutes and thus rapidly press the minute button repeatedly.The timer does still work, but it's an annoying quirk to deal with when thirty plus students are waiting for me to start the timer.
