I got this for my daughter who has become a little shoe collector over the last few years..Her old shoe rack was taking up so much space and was clunky, bulky, cheap feeling, and just not it.Since I had gotten a rotating shoe rack she had her eye on them as well, and we were interested to try this one and see the difference to mine.First of all putting this together was a BREEZE! Upon unpacking we were slightly overwhelmed but after peeping the instructions - which conveniently left out Step 4 (Went from Step 3 to 5, and I had PAGE 1&2 so nothing missing, just misnumbered or something?) Be mindful when you open the box - there is a set of 6 circle boards packaged together - and a set of 2 circle boarded (One of which will be thicker) The one with 2 together is your designated top and bottom piece, the thicker one is your bottom rotation component, put that down and then you have the little slats to input the 5 "Walls" of each layer.you'll slowly build each level and place one of the circle boards in place - some of the pieces are a little harder to wedge in - but that's also what keeps them in place once they're in, they're snug.Once fully built it is even taller than my daughter who is about 5'5 - The rotating mechanism is super smooth and isn't to fast or slow, it's honestly just the right amount, and you don't have to push it hard to get it to rotate, I'm not sure if this will change over time, but I was very impressed with it out of the box.The shelves themselves could be a little deeper, and maybe even have a slightly taller section toward the bottom for high tip boots, or boot heels, combat boots, etc.She also wound up utilizing some of the cubbies for purses and accessories and things, so it is super versatile and a great way to showcase your favorite shoes and things while also having the functionality of being able to access them easily, and being a compactish way to store them.She loves it, it was an awesome option. Works great, Looks great.

It does not fit a pair on women’s size 8 shoes do not buy if that is your intention. To expensive for what it is!

Sturdy material. Easy to assemble. Nicely constructed. I wear a women’s 10 so I was a bit creative in fitting both shoes in one compartment 😁
