We got several of these for our home after our neighbors experienced attempted break ins. These were highly recommended and did not disappoint. We can check our home via our smart phones and we even get notifications of any people approaching our house/yard. When we’ve been out of town we use the Eufy brand inside cameras to check our pets. This brand, Eufy, has exceptional quality, recording ability using your SD cards, and great picture quality. The prices when these were on sale for Black Friday and Amazon Prime day were an excellent value that we couldn’t let slip. We’ve since purchased more of these to cover the entire house!!! We’ve had no problems for a year. I would earnestly recommend Eufy to anyone that wants some security cameras but not wanting a monthly subscription price!!!

I can only think of two things that would make this camera better. I find it a little creepy that it says it detected someone lingering in my yard. When I first got it it kind of scared me. The other thing is that it keeps telling me it detects a person in my yard and it's just my pellet grill with a cover on it, It would be nice if I could outline a subject and exclude it from recordings. Other than that it works great! I have a lot of deer that frequent my backyard and it records them and it's fun to watch them. It catches the neighbor kids cutting through my backyard, It also tracks all of the stray cats that use my steps as their shelter. It was easy to install And I love that I don't have batteries to replace ever. I do wish it would also come with some sort of clip-on deflector where you could adjust the angle of the light.. I don't use the flood light much because it shines right into my neighbors window... It's a super wide angle and the light is super bright. I love that it can be adjusted Just wish it would have some sort of deflector.

This is a great camera for the Eufy environment and for one that’s has ptz built into a motion flood light. The quality of the video is great, and the notifications are fast. The unit is a clean white that matches freshly painted white soffits. The brightness of the lights are adjustable, which is nice. But, there are some serious challenges with the app. You do have to add an sd for any playback recording which is unlike the order model, but something I knew going in. My big issue with the app has been and seemingly always will be, is performance and navigation. Controlling the ptz is a bit cumbersome, and the playback speeds are on the slower end. I know this is a limitation on the device as other WiFi cameras are much faster. The addition of 24/7 recording is a huge plus. I plan on keeping this camera unless Unifi ever releases a competitor to this, which likely won’t happen. And if it does, it probably wouldn’t be anywhere near the price of this unit which would make it difficult to select. Can’t beat the value when this goes on sale.

The screws are small and Philips it was hard to keep the screws on the end of the screw driver. If they used Torque screws or Square screws it would have really helped. The video and lighting is fantastic could not be happier. I was quite surprised that it actually panned and followed targets….:) Thanks Eufy. I also bought the Base and installed a 1tb hard drive so no more monthly fees. It was costing me 220 $ a year in fees from their competitor and the quality was poor, they only kept the videos for 30 days. With Eufy there are no fees and I decide when to delete videos with the 1tb hard drive on the base station. I think I am good for 10 years.
