This filter is easy to install in my Maytag fridge. Water is clear and tastes good. I followed instructions and ran 4 quarts of water through it after installation. No problems with flow. I would recommend this product.

I am so disappointed! First off the holes are NOT 5 mesh-Much closer to a 6 mesh. For my application, I figured it would still work so I decided to proceed with my project…BIG Mistake! The only good thing I can say is the wire fabric did come nicely rolled, but that is the ONLY good thing I can say. The mesh fabric appears sturdy until you bend, cut or handle it in any way. Unfortunately for me, the first thing I did was cut a 4”x12” strip-so at that point it was not returnable. The wires are all loose, so the fabric itself is very weak. This also means as soon as you touch it, it begins to unravel! The loose/open weave also permits the fabric to shift side to side and not stay square. I found it virtually impossible to work with and a TOTAL WASTE of my money! I wish I could get my money back. Beware

Product was exactly as advertised and was less expensive than the same one from my dealer.
