Cuidado, no viene como las fotos, a mi equipo le falto una prensa y la cubierta de los tubos corredera de la sierra, en general bien el equipo, pero me molesta que no venga como la foto, ya que por eso me decidí por ese modelo.Saludos

Disco malo para cortes ya que astilla al corte y trae atornillador de plástico y al pegarse la tuerca con el perno este se barre.mal escuadra.lazer descuadrádo aunque trates de cuadrarlo con los tornillos.

I've put off getting this sort of saw for a very long time. Lately I've run into situation that require repeatability and saving time. It is amazing how many time I've needed to do a miter or chop off many of the same pieces. Running from one side of the house to the other to use the old radial arm had been getting old. The Evolution was a solid feeling saw and survived the trip to my door well. Securely packed and was easy to put together with only a few details outlined on the setup sheet. The only issue is the zero of the saw. Given the sliding feature, it will hang a near 1 degree lower at the fully extended and at the minimum position, it is almost above the mark and not always cutting completely. Not found a mention of zeroing it and looking at it, this is a cast in the body arrangement. The stop can be retracted to wards the storage position to cause the drop, but the fully extended position would them be too deep. The issue was the relative distance of the arm to the minimum position and that can't be fixed. I'll make due as it is not the end of the world flaw.

This miter saw has several thoughtful features and is built sturdy. It has a Soft Start function so it doesn't trip your weak home breaker. The saw is powerful and large enough to cut through 4x4 material. The included blade is all-purpose, but the finishing cuts are not the best on wood (since it tends to drag out small fibers at the very edge of the cut). The angle adjustments have a solid click to them. The backing plate is square and sturdy. The clamp is perfect for more precise wood cuts. The saw head moves smoothly and without any catches. There is a small slot for the Alan Key wrench. The cable loops around in a particular place. Overall I was impressed with this design.

Good build overall. Some of the plastic edges are not as smooth as on a much more expensive machine but I’m really nitpicking. No adjustment was required out of the box when checking against a speed square. Included blade made clean cuts. I’m only cutting wood and nothing else. This is my first tool from this brand and it’s been a great surprise.

Tal cual es descrito. Fácil de armar. La hoja corta fácilmente madera y metal (que es lo que ya probé). Muy satisfecha con mi compra. Recomiendo su adquisición.

La compre para trabajos caseros, definitivamente tenerla te anima a querer hacer todo tipo de cosas ya que corta de todo. Estuve cortando PTR cal14 como si nada, cuadrados sólidos de acero perfecto, hasta que intente cortar unos ángulos que desde un inicio sentí el material más duro el filo de el disco se fue con pocos cortes.Simplemente necesito más discos, pero maquina muy recomendable

Cortes muy buenos en metal, buena potencia, se siente un producto de buena calidad sin llegar a uso profesional, en este momemento es mi juguete nuevo y estoy encantado con ella.

This is a great saw! I don't normally write reviews but I did for this one. When I recieved the saw the left adjustable fence was slightly warped from manufacturing so I contacted evolution customer service (which I got through within 30 seconds!!) and the rep was great got the replacement part sent out right away! I do recommend if you're going to be cutting metal with it to fab up a small cover for the laser since the placement of it is right in the cuttings path. Also I ordered a mild steel cutting blade since the reviews on their all purpose blade didn't bode well for extended use. I've been cutting 2x2x0.25 and this thing cuts through metal like butter and it's consistent just let the saw cut and don't push it hard. Definitely wear arm and face protection since, like with any cold cut saw, it shoots off a lot of tiny metal cuttings which can hurt.I've used it to cut different hard wood as well, I didn't bother to take off the steel blade and it cuts through walnut, ash, maple and red oak very well with minimal chip out.All in all if you're looking for a one stop shop compound miter saw this one impressed me!
