Have had this battery for over a year after my original 2 batteries wouldn't hold a charge. At 3000mAh, this one holds a charge for a long time.

While I have only used it to complete a small carpentry project, the battery performed well with two full charges. It remains to be seen if the battery will perform at a high level after being charged 100 times. Right now, I would rate the quality/value equation as excellent.

This is an awesome product!The vendor got them out to me ahead of schedule, (BIG PLUS!). The batteries had a workable charge when I received them, however, I put them on charge to make sure they started their life the right way.I install cabinets and have an 18v kit that incorporates an impact driver, drill, circular saw, jig saw, reciprocating saw (or "Saw Z-all" to some), a blower/vacuum, and a flashlight. I used the first battery for almost two days switching back and forth between the impact driver and drill before having to change out the battery. The circular saw burned up the other one in a little over an hour, but this tool is extremely demanding on batteries, especially when making sustained cuts in very dense materials such as hard Oak or Maple, that are over 3/4" think.In short, these batteries , by far, out performed the last set of "Makita" 18v 3.0Ah batteries I bought for 2x as much. I'm expecting to buy at least one more since I have so many different 18v tools, just to keep from having to switch batteries back and forth.

Received earlier than expected, fit Makita well, charged quickly, and works well. I cleaned the contacts of the one that was 18 months old that appeared to have failed( not from same vendor) and that works well now. So I have 3 batteries which is good for large jobs that need continuous running without an electrical cord.UPDATE: 3 YEARS LATER 11/16/2016-Batteries(3) failed a slow death only running for about 20 minutes each. Ordered replacement cells from Amazon and opened battery and checked each cell. Each battery had one failed cell that caused them to run down in 20 minutes. Cut out and soldered in new cells and have returned each battery to service. Still happy with the battery(s) considering I goy 3 years of use and repaired them for $2 each.
