This item has been a great addition to my bathroom.The vanity is often cluttered so that certain things arent immediately visible when I want them.My primary interest was in expanding the number of outlets in a certain spot over the vanity. I saw the shelf with this item and decided it cant hurt.When I plugged it in, the first thing I put on the shelf was toothpaste and toothbrush. I then added the earrings I planned to wear. And lastly, I had a couple of lipsticks that are right now my favorites - they needed to be isolated from all the rest so they went on the shelf too.Its very useful that little shelf.
