Then it didn't. Just refused to work altogether. They also come with the most annoyingly bright blue LEDs on the power supplies which make absolutely no sense. Just put a small, red or green LED on the device. Why do the power supplies need an LED THAT BRIGHT? Crazy. Whatever, it's going to ecycle anyway. Garbage.

We have a game console for bar patrons, and this allows us to route the video and audio a lot further.

I've never tried a device like this one before, but I found it very helpful with running a video feed from a computer to an external monitor from across the room. Easy to set up and use, video quality was good, and the only issues I had was with the computer at first. Overall, this device worked very well and is worth the price. Recommended.

We'd tried several different HDMI extender products before this one - all were spotty and unreliable. But this one works, and works consistently. We put the sender on the conference room table and the receiver taped to the back of the TV, and we're using a Cat6 40' ethernet cord down through the center of the conference room table, across the floor along with a power cord in a cord-cover, and along the wall to the front of the conference room to the receiver on the TV. We keep it plugged in all the time so anyone can just plug in their laptop on the conference room table and turn on the TV. Even our most tech un-savvy team member can use it now.If you've had reliability problems with other solutions, this one is worth a try!

The first thing I noticed was how small these units are. They're easy to hook up - a blue LED on the transmitter and receiver mean they're connected via the network cable. The video source is crisp and clear on the receiving end. However, I did find that they're picky about some HDMI inputs. While they worked fine with an HDMI device connected directly to them, they didn't like the output from an HDMI switch I was using.I only tested on about a 50 foot cable run and from past experience these proprietary HDMI extenders can struggle with long cable runs so be aware of that. These are extremely reasonably priced HDMI extenders in very compact cases that I can recommend.
