I purchased these filters for the convenience of having two for the same price as one name brand paper filter. I was reluctant at first but wanted to give it a try. To my surprise they fit the rainbow type 12 perfectly and I cannot tell a difference between the original keep a filter that came with my rainbow and these filters.

These look exactly like my OEM rainbow hepa filter on the outside. But I noticed in the product description is says hepa "style" ... In other words this is not a true hepa filter. So don't count on it to trap bacteria like a real oem filter. It also recommends replacement every 90 days. A OEM filter is suppose to last 2 to 3 year. Replacing this often makes me worry that the tabs that hold the back panel on my rainbow will break...(My mothers did)

They work, they're cheaper than original parts. That's all I could ask for them to be.
