Ojo con este producto. Si es una llave, pero para llevarse con el cerrajero. Y eso tiene un costo mayor. En caso de querer el cambio a este tipo de llave recomendable hacer el cambio directo en agencia.

Hay que llevar con un cerrajero a que corten la navaja, después de eso disfrutarás tu llave, está muy práctico. Me gustó el diseño y le queda perfecto el chip que trae la llave original. Ojo cuando lo desarmen, para que vuelva a quedar bien.

El producto se ve de buena calidad pero le faltó el resorte que hace funcionar el mecanismo de la llave nose si regresarlo o componerlo o no comprar más

Me sirvió para mi Honda pilot 2013, la calidad no es la mejor pero espero que dure mas que la original, se tiene que grabar la llave y al meter la botonera es algo complicado volverla a armar por el resorte que tiene, de ahi en más es lo que promete.

This key is working very well for me! It's a nice upgrade. My sweetie transferred the circuit board from my old key. After watching a few YouTube videos and seeing how people put too much tension on the spring causing it to break, I made sure he only loaded the spring one full turn. It created the perfect tension on the spring. I had the key cut buy a local hardware store for free! The guy told me they only charge for the blank key, not the cutting of the key since I brought my own. So, I gave the kind man a decent tip. The first time I put the key in the switch it was a little tight. The key didn't go in easily. It was almost like it was too thick and wouldn't fit. When I looked at the key I could see that the cut didn't look clean. I took it back insight and told the gentleman what happened. He said, "it needs to be brushed a little more to get the extra metal off the cut edges." After brushing it more he said, "this ought to work and it'll go in easier the more the key us used." The key has been working perfect since. This was definitely worth the $9 I paid for it.

Easy to install, but I can see how the spring part would be annoying if you let it unwind. Buttons fit inside case perfectly. I got lucky the cute girl at the Honda dealership cut it for me for free. It started my car no problem and let it drive the first time but after that I kept getting the green key on the dash and it hasn’t worked since.

Worked for my 2006 Honda Accord. I took this key shell and my original car key to ace hardware and they only charged me $15 to get the key cut. I transplanted the buttons and transponder out of my old one into this shell myself. Opens my car door and starts the engine just as well as the original key. Really happy with this purchase. My only complaint is the first package I received was an empty amazon envelope/bag. But amazon was able to just place a reorder after I told them about it and I got the actual key shell the 2nd time around.

The key blade wasn't too thick like some other listings out there on Amazon and the locksmith was able to cut the key blade with no issues. It slides in and out properly in my ignition as well as the door locks, no rough resistance so the blade is the right size and length.- The fob fits into place but you'll get a more recessed button feel but all the buttons are still easy to press and tactile so that's fine.- The transmitter has a convenient slot to install the transceiver closest to the key blade and it fits snug in place. (I may be using the wrong terminology but it's the small rectangular plastic bit that's separate from the fob remote itself).- The tension of the spring is very taught and the flip button actually holds the blade in the locked position unlike my previous key flip fob so that's great.- the notch for the key ring is pretty large so you can easily slide it into your keychain.- the finished product is a bit heavy so keep that in mind for the overall weight of your keychainThere are three screws, one small at the front and two long ones at the back. The tension of the spring is really tight so for installation i would suggest to undo the screws, hold onto the back plate, slowly rotate it clock wise, install the fob and transceiver, and do the reverse to seal it up. That way you don't lose the tension of the spring provided by the factory.I'm pleased with the product. Let's see if it'll beat my previous flip key fob record of 1.5 years.

I bought this key for my 2003 Honda Accord.This key is an absolute gem. I had originally purchased an and after taking it to my local locksmith, learned that the OEM shell was just as prone to breakage as the original key that came from Honda. It made no sense to spend $10 on a shell that was going to break again in a few months. So after doing some research on YouTube and looking around for flip keys, I ran across this one. I received it the next day, took it to my local locksmith and he had the blade cut in about 10 minutes. He even helped me get my transponder out of my old shell.Speaking of the transponder, for my car, I was able to drop the transponder into the slot for it in this flip shell without any problems starting or running my car. Others have reported an issue with the placement of the transponder in the shell, but I did not experience that. I placed my electronics into this shell, screwed the pieces together and was on my way.Also important to note, for those that might forget to tension their spring with reassembling the shell... make sure when you put the pieces back together that you line the little spring kink into the slot on the back side of the shell that pairs up with the button, then turn the shell one full rotation clockwise to add tension to the spring. If you do not do this your blade will not spring open. It will still work, but you will not get it to pop open.I hope this helps someone out there. This key for me was a life saver. For a total cost of just under $55 I have a new key that will likely never break under regular use. You really can't beat that. And it only took a total of about 30 minutes to get this key into action, and that includes a 10 minute drive to the locksmith.
