I purchased these because I needed waxed paper bags to keep food fresh. The description repeatedly states these are made of waxed paper. Unfortunately, they are not. They don't appear to have any wax coating at all. Their consistency is so similar to baking parchment that I wonder if that's what they're actually made from. They're fine if you just need a sandwich bag that'll contain food for a few hours, but longer than that and they don't keep things fresh.Also, they came as a single stack of bags shrink-wrapped in plastic film. Super inconvenient packaging. It would have been better if they came in some kind of dispenser box like every other sandwich bag ever.Won't be buying these again.

These bags remind me of the golden days when my mother made my lunch for me to take to school.These bags are perfect for sandwiches and snacks because they keep your food fresh without getting soggy.I have been using these bags for flower seeds that I have been collecting this fall from my garden to save for next year.They are the perfect size and I can write the variety right on the bags.There are plenty of bags to last me for a long time.I also like that they repel moisture and don't disintegrate if they get a little wet.There is a wax coating on them.These are nice storage bags, and they have lots of use potential for my household.
