I got a 2nd hand affordable guitar with the intention of upgrading and modding. The original string trees were bottom level quality so I wanted to try these. They look and feel so much nicer than budget level trees. They're still fairly affordable but look nicer and more durable. The string channels have some slight rough edges however that doesn't seem to interfere with the function or tuning stability. I almost sent them back to get a more expensive self lubricating set.Since these aren't giving me tuning problems, I'm going to get string/nut lubricant and add that to the trees for assurance.

These have cheap screws that are easily stripped and the underneath (retaining side) have sharp edges that can catch your string.I got these for a project I needed to put together fast; I’ll eventually swap them for Graphtech string savers.

I mean what is there to say, pretty close to the stock fender string trees. Really cant tell the difference by looking at them. I will say the screw is a little soft and strips easily but as long as your not trying to screw it into something like oak i guess you'll be okay. Would i buy it again? yea, because there arnt many other options. Does it do its job? Yea. So honestly if this is what your looking for, don't hesitate and go ahead and buy it!
