I ordered 4 to use outside closer to Christmas but ended up using 2 in my shower area as it is a darker area. I love it! Going to purchase 2 smaller ones for the shower and use the larger outside. They are versatile in use and a good value for the $, I think. Different light settings and dimmer. Good, fun, mood setting buy!

They look great. Super cute! But… the batteries were drained pretty fast. I wish they were rechargeable instead. I bought rechargeable batteries just for this so that is why Im taking away a star.

These are great lights for the price. They come with four identical remote controls; we used only one, because the same one can be used to switch on (or off) all of the lights. The remote control option is actually essential; we bought some similar lights without the remote, and then realized that we would have to climb a ladder every night and morning to turn them on and off!There are no instructions, but the timer function seems to work as follows. The light stay on for something like 8 hours after you first turn them on, and then go off. Then they repeat the same cycle 24 hours later. So, if you turn them on at dusk on the first day, you will be all set.We don't like the many flashing modest and just used two of them as a constant starburst on our entrance porch. They look really nice.The negatives? The hook from which you hang them is molded plastic, and looks like it might break-off easily, although it didn't in the time that we used them. And they go through batteries quite quickly. I bought a dozen Amazon rechargeable AA cells, and found that I need to replace the batteries every couple of days. Which of course means getting out a ladder ...It would have been much simpler for us if we could have found lights that ran off of a transformer, and just plugged them in, since we have a switched outlet on the porch.

We purchased the multi-colored lights as Christmas decorations, but liked them so much we bought the clear lights as well. They look so good we expect to use them year-round, especially during the summer around the patio. The IR remote control works well and is able to operate each light individually, in case you want to mix up the patterns or brightness. One issue we noticed is that during extremely cold weather (between 5 and 18 degrees F), the range of the IR receivers was reduced to a very short distance. Otherwise, no problems. Highly recommended.

We purchased 1 set to try out and loved them SO much purchased a 2nd set right away. Very delicate looking. Wanted simple decor for our holiday this year. These were perfect. Hung easily from hooks or nails under the roof trim (we usually use for holiday string lights). When done brought them inside and hung in living area together as "chandelier". They will easily transition to hanging outside on summer nights in the backyard. They come with remote for each individual light--or you can program to use one remote for all lights. Amazing. Just hit red off button at each light. LED/batteries, no heat hazard. (..perhaps order amazon AA batteries at same time? 4-per light. Inexpensive, good.) *Note- Lights come closed to protect in shipping. As you can see they're wires that open into a ball shape. Very easy to do. If wire bends a bit when opening just pull lightly out straight between thumb & finger. Easy to adjust. I did while watching tv!
