Standardized packaging from Manufacturer (NOT AMAZON)Machining of the product is well.feels very rugged and strong and has some weight to it. Doesn't feel like it would break from dropping it or the sun would cause it become brittle.Using it with my GPS device and move it into a less obstructive are/position.Surface coating seems corrosive resistant

Ram arms are no doubt a standard RAM component and essential to any Ram set up but what sets this apart from the rest is the build quality and spring clamp feature which adds to it's durability and overall lifespan.This will be used in many many ways; with my FANAUE MagSafe plate at my desk as well in my car and outside of my car attached to a RAM arm setup and a magnetic car rig for videography as well as attached to my Bicycle.If you're a urban photographer/videographer who uses magic arms often; RAM mount is something you should definitely consider for it's versatility and strength because unlike magic arms designed with the photographer in mind it lacks customization which RAM mounts offer.

This is a nice long arm extension for ball style mounts. It is a nice light weight material that is sturdy. The clamp works well and holds well at both ends. Works well on my motorcycle.
