This Avata 2 battery is a good replacement for the OEM. The battery fits just a little snugly, but it does fit. The battery charged alongside two other OEM batteries, and the charging time was as expected. The flight time was about 14 minutes, which... during my test almost fooled me. I flew the drone for about an hour or so before I realized I had already cycled through this one. I wanted to use it last, but it was used during the initial benchmarking of the OEM batteries. That being said, it tells me that the time and performance were in line with the other 6 OEM batteries that I have, and that I was fooled into assuming that it was one of the OEMs. Im convinced.

This replacement batter fit into both the DJI charger and the Avata 2 perfectly with a secure click, it charges in about the same time as the original battery and I got about just under 20 minutes of flight time out of it, pretty much the same as the factory battery.I flew a few cycles in low altitude just in case the battery fails mid-flight, but it never did, it performed every bit as reliable as the original. The DJI app is able to read the batter data as well without any error codes. I can't tell about the longevity yet, but by every indication so far, this battery is every bit as good as the original DJI. I would definitely buy again.

This battery slides right into the my Avata 2 drone and DJI charger perfectly, which is always a good sign when trying third-party options. Charging time feels the same as the original, and in terms of flight, I’m getting pretty close to the expected 20–23 minutes, though, as usual, that depends on wind and how aggressively you’re flying. No issues so far with overheating or cutoffs, and it’s held up over a few sessions without noticeable drop-offs.It’s priced fairly so I picked it up as a backup to keep flying without waiting for a recharge. If performance holds up, I’ll probably grab another just to round out the kit. So far, so good.
