I have one in my truck as a spare, one in my construction vest and one for welding with soap stone in it. Great piece! I lose one, I just buy more, best work pencil I’ve come across!

My wife figures all the house hold bills and I make all the payments. I have gone thru countless little thin wooden pencils with their weak lead. This pencil has boldy taken the place of ALL my past pencils. I even bought extra lead fillers. Speaking of the filler, it is fantastic. I also bought a batt powered sharpner, so when the lead does need to have a lift, I just extend the lead and sharpen it. No mess, no shavings of wood. This pencil has a plastic body but it is strong and durable. I will be buying another pencil as a back up. The eraser wipes cleaner than any pencil I have ever used. The pencil is just one fine writing tool. I higly recommend it.

It's expensive, but the quality is there. And it's nice that it comes with some erasers.

I bought this for my wood turning projects, but it will work with a lot of woodworking. This lead is really fat, but very dark and comes in colors for dark woods, or wet stuff. Very effective and easy to sharpen.
