These head gaskets are primarily a proven old school design made for aluminum heads. This is because they have a softer copper fire-ring that doesn't dig into the surface of an aluminum cylinder head like an all steel fire-ring. You can use cast-iron heads, also.I've been using these head gaskets for years and never had one fail. I don't use boost, though, on my street/strip 67 Mustang with a late model 5.0 Windsor. I'd check with Fel-Pro for info on that if supercharging, turbo-charging or using Nitrous.What I do like is the quality and the .039" thickness. This will give you a bit more compression than other head gaskets that usually are thicker. These head gaskets are an upgrade to the Ford OEM design.They're reasonably priced and have the Fel-Pro "Print-o-Seal" feature which helps with sealing.I highly recommend these head gaskets by Fel-Pro.

What's there to say about fel pro gaskets? They are still number one in my book, I have never had an issue over the years and even though it has been a while since I bought any the high quality you need and expect is still there.

So far so good . these gaskets with .039 thickness brought my compression up to 10.25to1 compared to 10to1 with my old gaskets, so that a plus ... and they seem way better at sealing compared to cheap regular head gaskets. Im happy with these will buy again if I need to take appart my 357w again for something

Installed April 15 2020 with arp head bolts aluminum procomp heads less than two 10 lbs bottles of nitrous and it started blowing coolant out of over flow bottle at normal operating temperature 347 stroker summer driven only maybe 2000 miles and two 10 lb bottles and the heads are back off
