I bought these so people could form a line to a trackless train in a pumpkin patch. I wish I had opened the packages at home prior to use. This one in pic was unusable, and another one (that I forgot to take a picture of) had the strap clip upside down. I should have returned both but I had to make do since it was opening day. Very disappointed that they don't check their products before sending out to customers.

We thought that gel base would work, but it doesn’t add enough weight. We are still trying to find what will work so they don’t tip when you pull the belts out. The product itself is perfect. Just gotta find the right base to use. (Bought as a barrier for our son using his Oculus).

UPDATE: I figured out that there are caps to cover the holes in the base, so that they may be filled with sand or water to weigh them down. There are no instructions with the stanchions so I assembled based on logic, but for less handy people it may be tricky.ORIGINAL REVIEW:The base of the stanchions have no weight. You are unable to fill them with water, and they also have holes so you cannot fill them with sand or gravel. Because they don't have any heft, they topple over easily and cannot be more than 2 feet apart without falling down.
