My wife rides a Suzuki SV650 and the horn is pathetic. Hardly worth using. Many years ago I had a set of very effective Fiamm horns on my old BSA so that got me wondering if they still sold that kind.Sure enough, they do still sell very good horns. Ordered a set, they arrived the very next day, and they are now on the bike. I mounted them one on each side of the fork, behind the turn signals. They fit well there. I didn’t use the relay provided with the set, which made the installation easier.I used a decibel meter and while standing behind the bike, about 10’ away, it read 96!If you can’t hear that, you must be deaf.Very satisfied.

Much better than the factory fitted horn of my Sprinter van, although not quite as loud as I hoped.

Purchased these as a replacement for my whiny Toyota horn. After suffering from years of discontent that my car horn sounded more like a whine than a honk, I googled around for a solution. There is a lot of info out there, and I found that I am not alone. That is probably what led you here, too.Installation was a bit harder than I imagined.1. Access. I couldn't gain easy access to the horn due to all the plastic protectors and bumper assembly. I chose to work through a small slot rather than remove the bumper. You might want to double check that you can get to your horn before purchasing.2. Mounting. As expected the original horn, there is only one, is small. It would have been much easier to install another single horn, but this one has two. I had to fabricate another a couple of metal braces, and along with one of the enclosed ones, made a triangular bracket to mount the two horns to one hole.3. Space. There is very little room where the original horn is mounted. Installing the two horns there required figuring out the proper custom brace lengths to ensure that the two horns would fit. Even then, the horns had to be rotated so that the didn't face each other or pieces of the car frame.TIP: Be sure that the horns, the car frame, or other obstructions for at least 3 inches. Otherwise the horn will have an odd muted effect. Kind of like when a trumpet player blocks the end of their instrument with their hand.3. Wiring. More of an inconvenience, but I had to get my own wire and spade terminals to hook up the horn. After the installation pain, I am happy with the end product. I installed it without the relay, and so far so good - good volume and no blown fuses. I've already "had" to use the horn quite a few times, and I'm really happy with the sound! It sounds like a real car.One note is that the original horn faced forward. With this product's nautilus design, the horn faces sideways. While it's plenty loud enough, I imagine it might be slightly louder if it faced forward. I checked around and might get the Hella Sharptone for my next car, since it does have a front facing design. https://www.amazon.com/Hella-922-000-731-Sharptone-Horn-Kit/dp/B00R3O0Y0M/

I bought these horns for my 93 Miata to replace the cheap bicycle type original equipment horn. What a huge difference!!!! Just One of the horns sounds very good, but both are fantastic!!!I cannot believe the difference. They were very easy to install. I removed the 4 bolts from the guard that is between the radiater and the front bumper, so I could pull it out a couple of inches. This allowed me to remove the bolt that holds the horn bracket in place. I unpluged the horn and took it out. The bracket is bolted together in 2 pieces, which I took it apart. I mounted the new horn right on to the top piece original bracket and had to screw it on so the horn is on the radiator side. I went to autozone and bought an electrical sta-kon kit that had the connector for the horn and also splices to connect the wire to.($5)I had some wire at home (about 1 1/2 feet of 16 guage). I put the sta-kon plug on one end, and used the splice (often used for trailer hitches) to connect the other end to the existing horn wire. For the 2nd horn, there is a hole on the drivers side exactly the same as the hole that mounted the original horn. I used the 9 mm bolt that came off the extension bracket of the original horn and used it to mount the 2nd horn with the bracket that came in the kit. There is no need for ground wires , as long as you bolt the horn directly to the car as the original. (the mounting bracket serves as your ground) I was not sure if my original horn relay could handle the higher amps of the 2 new horns, but it does. These horns are worth every penny. Don't believe the review that says there is no difference. When I first got the horns, I used some jumpers and tried the new horns and then tried the original. WOW! I was convinced .Enjoy, I do. My Miata now sounds like a Lincoln!
