I was a little worried about the higher price, but it is really worth it! I like to fidget with little gadgets, and I find myself playing with this a lot. It feels very well made. It's all metal and feels solid. The colors look good and the coating feels durable. It works well for it's intended purpose, and it's quite fun to play with. The magnets are strong, so I would not recommend small children to play with it (as they can get their fingers pinched easily). It makes fun clicking noises as the magnets flip around inside as well. Overall a good value!

I was looking for a unique birthday present for my Grandma until I stumbled upon on this nice magnetic metal fidget slider on Amazon. This metal fidget slider looks sturdy and looks its made of quality metal. It is two metal plates that slides against each other using your fingers like rubbing back and forth and/or from side to side. I also like the front design, a small oriental boy with a hat and a bamboo stick. It is a good stress reliever, boredom eliminator, it is kind of similar to stress squeeze balls. It came with a tiny torx screw driver for tuning but in my opinion, for safety, I will not include this tiny screwdriver when I give this unique birthday present to Grandma 👍

A few hours ago, I wrote a review based on my initial impressions, as I was almost ready to dismiss this product right out of the box. The action was not smooth, and it quickly began to bind to the point where it would no longer slide. The included screwdriver came without any instructions, but I assumed it was intended for removing the additional noise component referred to as the “tuning fork.”Suspecting that the binding issue was caused by the magnets shifting and increasing resistance, I decided to disassemble the unit. However, upon opening it, all the magnets immediately dislodged. Initially frustrated, I struggled to reassemble it, but after finding a helpful instructional video, I was able to put it back together with ease.Once reassembled, I tested it again, only to experience the same binding issue after a short period. Given the internal design, the magnets should not have shifted, so I investigated further and noticed that one of the screws had started to protrude. This was likely the cause of the initial problem, as even a small amount of movement can lead to binding. To address this, I removed the screws and applied a small drop of Loctite to secure them in place. While the device was open, I also removed the tuning fork, as the sliding and clicking sounds were already quite pronounced. Additionally, I applied a small amount of paste wax to the face, which significantly improved the smoothness of the action.Overall, this product requires some adjustments out of the box to function properly. After making these modifications, it performs adequately. However, potential buyers should be aware that it is inherently quite noisy—not only due to the clicking sound when changing positions but also because of the friction between the two sliding faces.

The magnet fidget comes with a nice zippered holder and small screw driver if you wanted to take it apart. The fidget is super cute with the panda on it but found it a little too hard magnet wise to play with ease as I would like. The magnet feels of good quality and an ok value for the price, a couple of bucks cheaper would be better. The feel of the magnet is strong and makes it harder to use with ease as I would like.
