Filter is tricky to remove once installed. Rigidity makes it difficult to remove from my 22 Subaru outbackManufacturer offered complete refund to me!!

I have a 2020 Ascent and have never paid the dealer to do my cabin air filter as it is an easy job and costs much less if you do it yourself. This one is extremely well made and looks like it could be permanent (I know it isn't) and the instructions are very nice. Sure, I already knew how to do this, but it is very nice to provide the customer pictures and instructions because it eases the operation and makes the experience better. Really impressed with this product.

This arrives in a plastic bag in a descriptive box. It was in perfect shape.This is a much better cabin filter than the stock one that comes in the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek. The stock one is just a basic folded paper filter. While that is fine, this offers better particle filtration and also has odor control via activated carbon, which the standard filter does not have.This filter fits the 2024 Subaru Crosstrek, and earlier models. It is simple to install and the directions show how to do it. Looking and handling it, it is much better made than the stock one. I have not installed it yet as our Crosstrek is brand new, but I will be installing it when it is due on the maintenance schedual.You would save over $100 dollars buying this and doing it yourself, rather than paying a dealer to do it. If you have some basic car skills, and can change filters, this filter would be an easy upgrade to do.
