What a concept, a travel surf rod! This rod is great, well made and solid/sturdy when it's all put together and ready for some big surf action. It's been with me on several trips up and down the Nor-Cal coast, either in my car or even on my motorcycle. Always ready to hit those holes and pockets in the might Pacific surf!Great job, Matts!

I had been wanting to grab a saltwater rod setup for a while and had a coast trip coming up.. I enjoy watching Fisherman’s Life, so I thought I’d give his rod a try! The build quality looks great considering the price. I love the portability aspect being a 4pc rod too. Unfortunately my coast trip fell through so I haven’t got it wet yet, but I’m definitely looking forward to it!Despite not having used it yet, I would feel comfortable recommending it to friends, and already have 👍

Purchased this for my husband for his birthday, the quality is unmatched for the price. Love that the rod and case is small enough to fit in our carry on luggage as well as in our backpacks. Can’t wait to use it more, and probably get a 2nd rod for myself!!
