We bought this mattress just under 2 years ago and at first I was in love with it. So comfortable! But now it is so soft it kills your back and you feel like you sag into it in many spots. My husband always feels like he's going to fall out of bed - it just didn't hold it's shape enough and kind of "broke down" in its stability. So today a new mattress is being delivered and it's costing us about $100 to get rid of this one - which is still in such great condition but in MA we can't get rid of mattresses anymore by taking to the dump or recycling shop. Besides it's so heavy that I'm not sure my husband and I could handle taking it anywhere. So while it was awesome for the first year or so, it didn't last. And just a few facts: we only slept on this mattress about one week a month for the past year AND between the two of us we don't weight 300 pounds. I wish I had better news but if you are looking for a long-lasting mattress, this isn't it.

Mattress arrived in excellent condition and on time. It arrived compressed in a 7 foot long box and is very heavy. Price reflects quality. It’s a $250 mattress and reflects that. This is a good mattress for short term or a guest room. This is not a $2000 mattress that’s going to last you 30 years. This is a mattress that will last you a year or two. I knew this going in. I needed to upsize from my queen to a king and I had a very tight budget to do so. I went from a $1500 sealy posturepedic, to this, and I definitely noticed. This is not a firm bed by any means. You sink into this mattress and it’s bouncy. I can feel the springs when kneeling on it. It’s not the most awful mattres one ever had but it’s definitely not the best. It’s mediocre. It will do for now, because it’s what I can afford. It’s not terrible, but it’s definitely not luxury. As to any weird smells, I noticed none. The bed sprung immediately to life once unpacked. It reached about 11 inches immediately. I was able to sleep in it the same night. The top is very soft and the mattress is clean. There were no stains, smells or bed bugs. If you’re looking for a budget friendly, soft, plush mattress that you’re ok with replacing in a few years, then this ones for you. If you’re looking for a firm, luxury mattress store mattress, then skip this. Overall I am happy with it. It’s what I could afford and I am glad Amazon offers it. There’s no way my budget would have allowed for an expensive mattress store king size mattress, and I desperately needed one. I’m prepared to need to replace it within 2-3 years though.

I wanted to hold off on writing a review for our new bed until we had it for a bit....we have had it now for 90 days! It has been easy and good since day ONE! It arrived on our doorstep and that was a plus that we didn't have to go out and shop for it. It is VERY heavy and you should have 2 people to lift it. Follow instructions to cut the plastic open and make sure the pattern is UP before cutting. (We also bought a wooden platform that we needed to assemble- so by the time we got the mattress on top to cut open--it was inflating upside down!) We turned on the ceiling fan to allow more air to circulate in the bedroom to assist with the inflation process. We did NOT sit or lay on it for 2 FULL days to allow proper, full inflation as per instructions.GOOD: Sides are strong and supportive, comfort level of mattress is soft/medium (I would prefer it to be firmer, but this was a compromise with my Husband), little to NO movement to disturb your partner when moving around, no odor or issues on day one, excellent price and fast delivery to our front porch.BAD: Foot of the bed is VERY soft---so do not sit to put on your socks, you'll slide off! (ugh--I wish they used the same construction they used on the sides for the foot of the bed!) The comfort level is a soft/medium so if you prefer firmness, you will feel like you "sink" into this mattress.OVERALL REVIEW: We really like this mattress...not love. It is SO affordable that we planned on this being a temporary situation until we can purchase another high end version of foam/pocket spring mattress---but this has been a GEM for the price and Prime delivery. I have owned this king size mattress since late 2018 and am just now writing this review a year and a half later. I typically don't write reviews for things I purchase, but I had to make an exception for this one. When I go to bed, I still say to my fiance how much I love our mattress. I have purchased other mattresses in a box and have been completely disappointed. They are normally really hard, they hold way too much heat, and are just overall uncomfortable. I really did not expect much out of this one, but we had already spent too much money on other furniture when we moved that we decided to give this one a try. And now, a year and a half later, we both are beyond satisfied with this mattress. We have recommended it to numerous people that are shopping for mattresses. It arrives in a manageable sized package, and once open, the mattress sets itself pretty quickly. It is nice and soft, and surprisingly has little transfer of motion to the other side (meaning I can roll around and not disturb my fiance's sleep because her side won't move much, if at all). I would highly recommend this mattress to anybody looking. Normally I would think that as inexpensive as it is, I would be seriously sacrificing on the quality, but it really is not the case here. I have slept much better on this mattress than I have slept on $1k mattresses, and that really is not an exaggeration.

I normally do not write reviews (although I need to start considering how much I order via Amazon). However, I am one who pays very close attention to the reviews of others. I did a lot of researching and reading and comparing before deciding on this mattress. A mattress is a long-term investment. So, it is not something you want to get wrong. This one seemed like the best choice for a great budget mattress, hand's down!My mattress was delivered on August 19, 2020. I unboxed it the same day. I gave it a full 48 hours to decompress before I slept on it. August 22 was the first night I slept on it. Wow! Just WOW! That was the first night in a longggg time that I actually got a good night's rest. With my old mattress, my neck, back and legs would hurt terribly when I awoke the next morning. After my first night sleeping on this mattress, I noticed a considerable difference. It is now going on two weeks that I have been sleeping on this mattress. My back problems are gone! My neck problems are gone! I do not wake up in pain. I do not toss and turn all night long. I am sleeping my best life.I absolutely love the way the mattress contours to my body and supports it in all the right places. It is soft but not too soft. It is firm but not too firm. It is perfect to me.Regarding the chemical odor, there is one when you first unbox and unpack the mattress. However, after the first 48 hours I used allowing the mattress to decompress, the odor was gone.I am beyond happy with this purchase, and for the price...you can't beat it.
