This product was packaged so nice. Came in storage bag, with easy to read instructions. It was easy to assemble & looks so nice. Quality, water and weather proof. The size was perfect. The mat for inside is thick and should becomfortable for our pets.

After having read several mixed reviews of this dog/cat house I decided to go ahead and see for myself how it shaped up.Glad to report assembly was reasonably easy all the pieces were there and well labeled!Pretty decent quality too !You get the impression it's meant to be used for a dog but I bought for a stray cat that needed shelter from the elements and with a little cat nip for enticement he took to it and has made it his home!Very pleased with the purchase!!

First things first, the instructions have one step incorrectly labeled. The tag labeled: “Door” is not supposed to face upward. And the illustration of the “feet” is misleading. The little black dots are not the capped feet, but the open ends to insert the rods! This will save you 30 minutes of frustration. Overall, this would be easier with two people assembling. One side would not budge into the bracket because the painted coating comes loose and “rolls” when you force the rail pieces into the brackets and as a result, I had to place a small plastic bottle cap under it to keep it level after assembly. My dog seems to like it but I dread taking it apart to launder if it becomes soiled. I’m using this indoors as a type of security den for my senior dog, so hopefully it stays clean. The quality of the cover seems sturdy but the hassle of assembly drops the rating significantly.

I bought this for my min pin. He likes to shred any soft fabrics by digging in a frenzy inside the dog bed. He went into this one right away and started digging - but the material is a sturdy canvas type and held up very well to his nails. The unit assembles very easily and comes with a bag to use to store or move the disassembled pieces. I think the price is fair for the quality of the item and shipping was quick. I think this would also be great to use outside on a porch as a sun shaded bed. I would think if you left it outdoors all the time it would develop mildew etc., so I would bring it inside after use.

My pup already loves it. She has a doggie door and went out in it at 45 degrees F and slept for 2 hours. The assembly was hard at first bc but once you figure out that you need to save the Velcro side for Last with the base, it was really easy. Should be able to do it in 10 minutes. After I read it three times, it finally clicked at how easy it was.
