Hace más de 40 años, Folkmanis Puppets introdujo encantadoras marionetas que cualquier persona podría dar vida con simples movimientos de mano. Folkmanis es el verdadero nombre de la familia
Cuando Judy Folkmanis comenzó a coser marionetas para el preescolar de sus dos hijos en Watertown, MA a fines de la década de 1960, nunca imaginó que construiría una carrera, un negocio y un legado. Con un creciente interés de los amantes de la naturaleza, padres y profesores, Judy y su esposo Atis se mudaron a Berkeley California y decidieron convertir el hobby en un negocio en 1976. Ahora sus hijos continúan la tradición.
Solo una ilusión
Buscamos nuevos e interesantes tejidos de felpa para inspirar el diseño. Aunque nos encanta hacer bichos de aspecto realista, todas las marionetas están hechas de tela de felpa sintética, vinilo y plástico. Nunca utilizamos piel, piel o productos animales.
Cuidado de tu marioneta
Nuestras marionetas de felpa son lavables solo en la superficie. No sumergir la marioneta en agua. Para la limpieza de manchas, utiliza agua tibia y una esponja con un detergente líquido suave para mojar y hacer espuma en la dirección del pelaje. Enjuaga la superficie con esponja. Ten cuidado de no escurrir ni girar la marioneta, sécala apretando suavemente entre toallas. Después de que esté seco, agítalo.

TLDR: tiny bit expensive for such a small puppet, but totally worth it if you have the money to spare!My dad got this for me as a very late birthday present- and OMG it’s adorable!!It’s surprisingly well made for cheap felt material!Probably not the most long lasting of finger puppets especially if you’re buying for a child, and it’s a tad expensive for such a small thing-But for anyone who has the couple extra bucks to spare, IT IS TOTALLY WORTH IT!!I’m planning to buy the goldfish and preying mantis ones too! (Not sure if they’re by the same seller, but I believe so as they look the same style and we’re in the recommended section)Pros:* very cute* soft & pretty safe for kids (no sharp edges, stuff like that)* teaches kids to appreciate and not fear bugs & critters like rollypollys* like, incredibly cute* not outrageously expensive* did I mention it’s adorable?!* perfect fit on your finger* could very well be a plushy too, if you aren’t looking close* will probably last a while* again, super duper cute!Cons:* slightly more expensive then I think it should be* probably have to be careful when washing* won’t last as long as it could if it’s was made better, it’s just felt.* eyes are a bit bug eyed, and not as cute as they could be (but still pretty dang cute)* might scare or weird out guests if they’re afraid of insects and you have this thing lying around (could also be considered a pro though if you’re like me haha)Overall, I LOVE IT!Please buy this over like a lion or a dog or whatever! Or at least in addition to “normal” animals!It’s SO worth it!!
