Justo lo que necesitaba a un buen precio. Permite formar y hornear muy bien la baguette y si bien es limitado porque sólo permite hornear dos, es justo el tamaño que requiero. Más espacios es más costoso

I am new to making bread and always had trouble with my Italian bread coming out somewhat flat, nothing like what you purchase from the grocery store. I was very please with the result of these pans. My end result was a beautifully rounded loaf nice and crispy just as it should be. I would certainly purchase this again if I needed to expand the number of loaves I bake at one time. The cleanup was easy and after several uses it still looks brand new, the pan is rigid and seems to be make very well. I would recommend this to family and friends and the price makes it easy for a beginner to get the right tools to make a fantastic loaf of bread.

I received this pan well packaged so it was not bent nor scratched. It had a small cardboard label attached with a gum adhesive, which left a very tiny streak that olive oil removed with a mar. The Fox Run 18x2.75 inch French bread pan is tin coated according to the description, which is why I purchased it. I washed it by hand gently so as to not scratch it, and after drying it, I rubbed a very thin film of olive oil all over the pan. It has two tubular wells joined by a fold, and is somewhat springy at the outer edges, which have been folded over, a nice touch. I put a little pinch of semolina in each tube, kind of rubbed it around up the sides. When I rolled my baguette loaves into each one, it was easy. I baked the loaves per instructions, and got a lovely browned top, somewhat pale sides and bottom--as expected due to the reflectivity of the metal. French bread! The soft loaves zoomed right out of the pan onto the cooling rack with just a little shake. Nothing stuck. I don't plan to wash these pans, but to continue using olive oil to wipe and then after a while the metal will develop a darker patina, which will make a browner crust further down a loaf. The pan is not perforated, but that was not an issue for me. I like the simplicity and its ease in using, at a nice price.

I was given one of those Teflon coated, perforated french baguette pans and it annoyed me intensely. The Teflon came off (onto the bread?) and my dough often squeezed itself into the holes, making it impossible to remove the cooked loaves cleanly. This Italian version has no Teflon and no holes, and is an absolute joy to use.The finished bread is slightly wider, and flatter, due to the shape of the tin, but there is no difference in quality. I'm unclear why the French version has holes, as they seem to make little difference to the cooking process; and I'm mystified why they should have become so ubiquitous, while these Italian ones are relatively difficult to find.I use no oil. Mine is a sourdough recipe, which I roll in flour before stretching to fit the pan. Bread making this way has become a doddle - five minutes mixing, an overnight wait for it to rise, a couple of minutes preparation, and the oven does the rest. These bread pans don't even need any cleaning!

I have a Teflon coated pan with holes in it, always line it with parchment for two reasons - I don't like Teflon touching the bread, and if the dough is a little soft, it will cook into the holes. So I tried these. Great service, at my door in two days! First time I used them, I lined with parchment, but that really is a pain. I have a small home business and bake about a dozen baguettes a week, so I thought I would give one of the pans a try and bake the bread without parchment paper. Worked great!Okay, why pay more? No Teflon, great service, and the bread slips right out of these pans like a dream!
