I love this plate. It’s nice to have a glass kids plate so they’re not exposed to so much plastic. My son also dropped it on our tile floor trying to get pancakes off the counter and it didn’t break. It’s a fun idea to get your picky eaters to want to touch their food. Believe it or not it’s good to let your kids play with their food!! My kids don’t really care about it but I have fun with it. One day they’ll like eating, right?! I want to get the girl version as well. I got this one on sale so I’ll wait for it to go on sale again before purchasing. :)

Me hubiera encantado que fuera de un material más resistente, ya que es de cerámica y se rompe fácilmente, no apto para los más pequeños.Sería muy divertido que existiera el mismo plato pero de un material más resistente

El plato es de cerámica gruesa, incluso es un poco mas pesado de lo convencional el plato, la imagen esta bien hecha y hace la comida un poco mas entretenida a los niños, lo recomiendo ampliamente

It's a really cute plate! I bought it on a flash sale for my daughter last fall. She was about 18 months. I was so excited about it being on sale that i didn't really read the description (the dangers of one click shopping!) I figured since it was Fred it was probably like a few melamine plates. Nope! it was one big ceramic plate! I'm not really that upset though because it is pretty tough. Its hung in there for a year now with my toddler. She's dropped it and drummed on it with her little utensils pretty regularly. So really just a little upset its only 1 plate other than that its a cute lil gift!

I'm currently on this kick to get all the plastics kitchen ware out of our house. It is very difficult to find children's china or stoneware dinner ware. Everything seems to be plastic or melamine which is not microwave safe... I find that terribly inconvenient. Don't toddlers eat warm food too? I was excited to find this and thought it'd be great fun for him. I like dressing Fred's face up when I serve my son dinner. It's great fun and turns mealtime into a bit more than just carrots and peas! The only disappointment is that it is rather heavy. I allow my son to help us clear the table and he sometimes has a hard time carrying his plate to the sink because it's so heavy. Sort of pricey too although I guess it's more of a gift item than something you'd buy more than one of.
